Customers can pay you right on your website: a service in advance, a deposit when they book a slot, or a gift voucher. Payments go through Stripe to your own account. We never hold the money and take nothing from it; Stripe only charges its usual card fee.
1. Open Payments on your website
In the panel, click Payments on your website in the menu. Only the account owner can switch payments on, not a team member.
2. Connect Stripe
Click Connect Stripe. If you already have a Stripe account, sign in and confirm the connection. If not, Stripe walks you through setting one up: business details, a bank account for payouts and an identity check. It usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Wait for the green status
Back in the panel you will see the account status. Once Payments enabled says Yes, you can take payments. If Stripe still needs something, click Continue setup and fill it in.
4. Add the Payment and booking block
In the website editor, add the Payment and booking block to a page. For each service, enter a name, a short description and a price. If you only want a deposit, type a percentage (for example 30 %) or an amount (for example 20) in the Deposit field. An empty field means the customer pays the full price up front.
5. Selling vouchers? Enter the amounts
In the Gift vouchers field, type the amounts separated by commas, for example 25, 50, 100. The customer gets the voucher code on screen and on the Stripe invoice.
6. Publish and try it out
After publishing, make a small test payment yourself. A booking with a deposit is confirmed only once it is paid. If the customer does not pay within an hour, the booking lapses and the slot is free again.
7. Keep an eye on payments and bookings
Every payment reaches you by email, and on Telegram if you have connected it. In the panel under Payments on your website you see the latest payments and bookings; invoices and refunds are in Website orders and in your own Stripe.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Stripe charges a fee per card payment (in the EU usually around 1.5 % + €0.25). Klientera takes nothing from your payments.
When do I get the money?
Stripe pays out to your bank account automatically, the first payout usually within 7 days, then on the schedule set in your Stripe.
How do I refund a deposit?
Open the payment in your Stripe and click Refund. The panel records it by itself.
Can I disconnect Stripe?
Yes, any time, with the Disconnect button in the panel. The payment buttons on your website switch off and your data in Stripe stays.
