You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no penalties and no phone calls. The service runs until the end of the month you have already paid for, and the next payment is not taken. Only the account owner can cancel.
Cancelling
- Open Settings and the Cancellation section. You see how long the service would run if you cancelled now.
- Click Cancel subscription. The secure Stripe portal opens.
- Choose to cancel the subscription and confirm.
- You return to the panel. In the Cancellation section and under Billing you will see Your subscription is cancelled and ends with a date.
Is the button not working, or do you not pay by card? Write to our support and we will handle the cancellation.
Until the subscription ends, you can also undo the cancellation in the Stripe portal and carry on.
What happens after it ends
Website: we switch off the website, and the domain stays yours. We send you an export of your data and keep it for 30 days. If you want to keep the website, you can buy it out (below).
Online shop: the store and the domain are yours and keep running on Shopify. Only our collaborator access is removed. We send you the data as an export and keep it for 30 days.
Your data
You can download a copy of your data at any time in Settings, in the Your data section, with the Download my data button.
Buying out your website
After 12 months of subscription you can buy out your website and take it anywhere.
- Open Add-ons and find Website buyout.
- Before the 12 months are up, you see the date from which it will be possible.
- Then you pay a one-off amount by card, or write to us and we agree it together.
After the buyout, you take care of hosting yourself.
